Raintree is a 74 unit townhouse community located just inside the Beltway (I-495) off\u00a0Gallows Road. It was established in 1972. The Raintree Homeowners’ Association\u00a0(RHOA) is served by our all volunteer seven\u00a0member Board of Directors (Board) who\u00a0serve three year terms. The terms are staggered so that three positions are up for reelection on an annual basis. RHOA is a non-profit organization whose primary mission\u00a0is to protect and enhance the value of the Raintree Community and, in the long run,\u00a0preserve the Raintree Community\u2019s image. The RHOA is assisted by Sequoia Management in its daily operations. The Board has a fiduciary responsibility to ensure\u00a0adequate reserves and has taken a proactive approach in regularly reviewing the budget\u00a0for maintenance and landscaping to preserve the community\u2019s property value and general\u00a0appearance.<\/p>\n
Our townhouses sit on a pleasant elevation variations site with many mature trees\u00a0throughout. We are bounded to the east and south by a wooded area. Typical floor\u00a0plan for our townhouses includes three levels (some with walk-out basements), three\u00a0bedrooms, two full baths and two half baths. Our location allows for convenient\u00a0commute to work, shopping, recreational facilities, medical facilities and public\u00a0transportation. Metro and Fairfax Connector stop in front of our community. Dunn\u00a0Loring-Merrifield Metro Station is 3.5 miles away.<\/p>\n
