You are invited to attend the meeting to learn about the proposed changes and ask any questions you may have. The meeting will be held as follows:<\/span><\/p>\n<p id=\"yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1491859288060_62034\" class=\"yiv9182711583MsoNormal\" align=\"center\"><b>Monday, April 17, 2017 at 7:00 p.m.<\/b><br \/>\n<b><a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/maps\/place\/6507+Columbia+Pike,+Annandale,+VA+22003\/@38.8375309,-77.165952,17z\/data=%213m1%214b1%214m5%213m4%211s0x89b7b3133bc3e179:0xfcc55f0b3f875ebd%218m2%213d38.8375267%214d-77.163758?hl=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">Mason District Governmental Center<\/a><\/b><br \/>\n<span id=\"yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1491859288060_62046\" class=\"yiv9182711583m_6251579148974656054gmail-m_-2601338815295520120MsoHyperlink\"><b id=\"yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1491859288060_62045\"><a id=\"yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1491859288060_62044\" href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/maps\/place\/6507+Columbia+Pike,+Annandale,+VA+22003\/@38.8375309,-77.165952,17z\/data=%213m1%214b1%214m5%213m4%211s0x89b7b3133bc3e179:0xfcc55f0b3f875ebd%218m2%213d38.8375267%214d-77.163758?hl=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">6507 Columbia Pike, Annandale, VA 22003<\/a><\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p id=\"yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1491859288060_62030\" class=\"yiv9182711583MsoNormal\"><span id=\"yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1491859288060_62031\">The proposal concerns the land immediately adjacent to Raintree&#8217;s property &#8211; approximately 9.5 acres of land located south of Gallows Road, north of Libeau Lane and east of the Raintree neighborhood (<\/span><span id=\"yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1491859288060_62029\"><a id=\"yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1491859288060_62028\" href=\"http:\/\/www.fairfaxcounty.gov\/dpz\/fairfaxforward\/pa\/gallowsrdconsolidation\/gallowsrdconsolidationstreet.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">Tax Map Parcels 59-2 ((1)) 29A, 29B, 30-36, 38-43 and 43A<\/a><\/span>) in the Mason Supervisor District.<\/p>\n<p id=\"yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1491859288060_62047\" class=\"yiv9182711583MsoNormal\">The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fairfaxcounty.gov\/dpz\/comprehensiveplan\/area1\/annandale.pdf#page=141\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">current Comprehensive Plan <\/a>recommends<span id=\"yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1491859288060_62048\" lang=\"EN\"> residential use at a density of 1-2 dwelling units per acre, but this<\/span><span id=\"yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1491859288060_62050\">\u00a0proposal is to amend the Comprehensive Plan to recommend residential use at a density of 5-8 dwelling units per acre.
