Annual HOA Membership Meeting Rescheduled

Homeowners, please be aware that the annual Raintree HOA Membership Meeting had to be rescheduled due to a failure to reach the required 19 home quorum. It is now tentatively rescheduled for Thursday December 19th at 6:30pm in the Woodburn Elementary School Library. If you cannot attend and have not already provided your proxy form to someone who can, please do so, otherwise the HOA cannot conduct the necessary business to approve a budget for 2014.

A letter containing the final details and additional proxy forms will be sent to your homes at least 25 days in advance of the rescheduled meeting. Our apologies to all of those who took the time to show up at today’s canceled event.

Reminder – Board Meeting Tomorrow Night

Homeowners, please be aware that tomorrow is the scheduled HOA Board meeting at 6:30pm at the Woodburn Elementary Library. At this time we do not yet have a confirmed quorum of board members, so please stay tuned for any updates regarding a last minute moving of the meeting date. For now, assume it is still on schedule:

Board of Directors Change

As of the last board meeting (9/26/2013), the Board of Directors voted to add Gerry Andrianopoulos as an interim board member, filling the spot vacated by Mark Webster. Gerry will serve in this capacity until the official elections are held at the annual Homeowners Association meeting this November.

Upper (West) Parking Lot

If you usually park your car in the upper (west) lot, please move your vehicle to a different location on the night of Friday, August 30, 2013, to allow space for tables for those community members participating in the yard sale.

Visitor Parking Use and Trash

The board, as well as management, has noticed many vehicles parked in the community with the visitor hang tag displayed for prolonged periods of time. The visitor tag was not meant to be used by any vehicle for a period of more than seven days. If you have guests visiting for longer than this period, the board would need to be notified, and arrangements made for these specific circumstances.

Secondly, the board and management worked diligently with the current trash provider to negotiate the new contract. Several homeowners expressed their need for new trash cans and recycling bins. Both items will be issued at no cost to the association or owners. The delivery is scheduled for August 24th. Once you have received the new items, please mark with your address. If you do not want the new cans, please notify GHA as soon as possible.

Our trash service now also includes a “white goods” (e.g. appliances) pick up. If you find that you need to dispose of an appliance please contact:

They will arrange a date for pick up. This will help the association’s appearance as well, and hopefully prevent items from being left on the curb.
